Discover the town district by district

Get to know Antwerp a little better

Walk through the most fascinating districts of the city

A nice way of getting to really know the city is by discovering it district by district. In the Austrian Era (18th century), the town was divided in 26 ‘quarters’. Two of them have survived over the years: Schipperskwartier (Red Light District) and Sint-Andrieskwartier (Parish of Misery). The other districts have got new names over time.

We selected a few of the nicest districts for you to discover in your company. Should your favourite district not be listed, just contact us. Anyway, we are Antwerpen à la Carte, aren’t we?
